NATURE CONNECTS
AN INTER-CULTURAL CELEBRATION OF NATURE & OUR SHARED PLANET
In 2026, We Live Here, Medway Diversity Forum & Rochester Cathedral will co-create a communal celebration of diverse cultural narratives of nature connection. The project aims to increase the engagement of communities with the natural world & create a space for sharing experiences of nature. Through a programme of participatory workshops, the creation & presentation of public realm installation, and a major intercultural event at the Cathedral, the project will explore how different cultures perceive the natural world around us.

We Live Here, Rochester Cathedral & Medway Diversity Forum present an evening of music & spoken word and a Harvest Feast, with outstanding musicians and writers from Medway, across the UK and beyond.
Artists include Faris Ishaq, Rochester Choral Society, Medway Can Sing with many more to be confirmed.
GET INVOLVED
We are inviting people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds to participate in walks, talks and meals. No artistic experience necessary. You just need an interest in nature and an interest in connecting with people! It’s a great way to share your own stories and experiences, reflect on how your own culture affects your relationship to nature, and to hear about other people’s experiences of the world that we share.
