Black Tailed Godwits: Migration, Landscape

In 2023, We Live Here begins the development of a new project which will track the migration of thousands of Black Tailed Godwits from the Arctic Circle to West Africa and the environmental challenges that these incredible birds face along the way.

Case Study
In 2023 We Live Here provided a case study for Culture and place in Britain. Published by Key Cities in partnership with Arts Council England, the report reviews culture policy and data in urban areas across the UK with particular focus on the 27 member cities of the network.
Art, Ecology & Community:
Research Report 2022
In 2022,We Live Here undertook an extensive programme of research, exploring practice, meeting artists and arts organisations and developing new project ideas addressing themes around art, ecology and community. The research programme focussed on creative ecological practices in the UK, the Netherlands and Finland.
Orienteering
Taking place across Lancaster and the surrounding area in September 2022, Orienteering was a day-long programme of exploration and fresh air, of walking, eating and talking, reflecting on a series of provocations exploring the question: ‘At a time of ecological crisis, how can the arts in helping us navigate our relationship with the natural world?’
